Wacky Reading Week

What a crazy reading week! This is the kind of week where my reading is so diverse that I know why I love books: You could never find this kind of wacky yet thoughtful discourse anywhere except in books.

Here's what I read:

  1. Shark's Fin and Sichuan Pepper is one I've had on my wish list (is it wrong to originally have written "wish lust?") for a while. Can't wait to see what you thought of it.

  2. The link goes to my review, but to save you time I'll tell you I loved it...and hated it. Loved reading about all her adventures...hated even thinking about someone chomping down on bear claws.

  3. You're right! That is a diverse list. My problem right now is reading too many books at one time. I really don't think it is saving me any time and I can't give my full attention to any one book even if the topics are similar and not as diverse as what you listed here. Sigh.

  4. That really is quite a list - and so different from what I read. I never stop being amazed at the nearly limitless books available. If you can't find anything for yourself, you are not looking.

  5. I've had my eye on Shark's Fin too. I was thinking about reading it for the Food challenge I'm probably not going to finish.

  6. From your review of Shark's Fin, it sounds unappetizing, so to speak, but not as a book, just maybe as a guide toward eating out in China.....
