It's Monday!

It was quite a week at Readerbuzz.
The mailbox was full.

A spontaneous purchase from Amazon Prime.

Two 1001 Children's Books You Must Read titles.

One ARC.

An unexpected package filled with 1001 Children's Books
from my wonderful friend from Australia, Louise!

A beautifully wrapped package from the author
who will be visiting our school this spring.
It was so beautiful that I can't bear to unwrap it.

What are you reading today?!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between!  This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.

  1. Looks like a good week for you! Love the author's packaging of the book! Did you ever open it? I'm still plugging away at my backlog...currently on Al Capone Does my Shirts -- an older one (& that's how long it's been sitting on my shelf). Watching the weather forecast for later this week - looks like good reading & hot chocolate weather.

  3. Looks like a great week.

Thanks for stopping by, I don't know when I'll get to Winter's Tale. I wanted to read it before the movie but I won't be seeing it in the theater.

  5. What terrific finds for your mailbox. That package is stunning. I wouldn't want to open it either, except...well, it is a book. There's a limit to how long I could let it sit without wanting to read it.

Beautiful gifts from generous hearts - lovely! and I'm so with you on the creativity of that author's gift - glad you took a photo to keep for when you actually have to unwrap it!

  10. I'm glad my package made the distance! It's nice to see what I put in there- I'd forgotten in the weeks it took to cross the Pacific…. The wrapping of the pigeon book is so gorgeous, I can see why you're waiting- it's so pretty.
