I imagine lots of parents wouldn't have been that impressed to have the kids home for just a hint of snow.Louisehttp://astrongbeliefinwicker.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7497062501059248350.post-86286759062654193852011-02-05T11:00:17.627-06:002011-02-05T11:00:17.627-06:00We did receive ice. Sometimes I wonder how the science of meteorology can be so far off the mark?

On the other hand,we have almost twice as much snow here as normal and I a bit ready for it all to blow past and bring the blustery winds of March.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414201637917215413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7497062501059248350.post-24309545120755266702011-02-04T21:17:48.244-06:002011-02-04T21:17:48.244-06:00I guess it's hard when you're not used to ...I guess it's hard when you're not used to snow. We had a snow day last week and a winter storm warning, but that's because they were expecting a foot or two... or more of snow. I still had to go to work though. I like snow though, it can be a lot of fun... as long as there isn't too much. I only really worry when they start using the word "blizzard" in an official way.Lonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16248163148722597124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7497062501059248350.post-4110517192969339662011-02-04T13:30:41.165-06:002011-02-04T13:30:41.165-06:00You are right, Jenni Elyse: we do not know what sn...You are right, Jenni Elyse: we do not know what snow is. Oh well. When I consider that my husband managed to slip and fall down our steps this morning because of the ice, perhaps it is best that we did not attempt to carry on with school today. Whenever I hear places in the south having snow days, I laugh because I think, "They don't know what snow is."Jenni Elysehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08403700912436098391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7497062501059248350.post-31009372947158912002011-02-04T09:27:16.540-06:002011-02-04T09:27:16.540-06:00I can hear you from here.
