Beloved is well, beloved but dark. Mi...I love that Faulkner was on both of our lists!<br /><br />Middlemarch and To the Lighthouse are two of my all-time favorites, especially Middlemarch (I love Mrs. Dalloway more than To the Lighthouse). I didn't love Beloved. It just didn't move me. I am clearly evil. Aaaaaand go ahead and read The Professor and the Madman. It is such a quick easy read and it is a lot of fun. <br /><br />Oh and I abandoned War and Peace around 300 pages in, too!
