ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to this one. The Midnight Library was a surprise 5 star read for me. I love a good fascinating character! That's definitely the quickest way to get me hooked into a story.

ReplyDeleteI apparently have quite a list of requirements to keep me hooked in a book, but at the end of the day I either enjoy the writing or my mind wanders. There is no rhyme or reason to it!

I read "The Midnight Library" back in the summer of 2022, It was a four-star read for me so I'll be checking this one out as well. Haig is a very good writer.

Characters are important to me too. I've got to like them to stay interested in a cozy (which is primarily what I read). But you probably already knew that. :)
