  8. I have an orange cactus blooming in my orange and yellow kitchen. But, I cheated I bought it at home depot already in bloom. Your yellow bloom would fit right in, but then I'd have no counter space...best leave it where nature placed it! It is a lovely photo.

  10. Wow, the flowering cactus is beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen one in full bloom like that.

    I just noticed that you live in Alvin - my husband lived there for 12 years in the late 70's and 80's! He worked at the Chocolate Bayou plant (first for Monsanto, then Conoco, then DuPont). Small world!
