Photos from Paris that Always Cheer Me Up

Pastries.

Gardens that are lovely even on a rainy day.

So many translations of The Little Prince.

Musical surprises.

A concern for all peoples.

The beauty of the imperfect.

Sunsets.

People reading. Flagrantly.

Picasso used the same kinds of art materials I do.

That head.

Gorgeous old stairs.
Though not exactly ADA-compliant...

The joy of making my own book of my travel adventures.

Baked goods. Good baked goods.

Trying food I'd never have tried at home.

Unexpectedly finding myself leading a parade of parishioners at a Mass.

Bookstore visits.

Art. Everywhere.

Even a simple flower in Paris...isn't.

The opportunity to read about Paris any time you want.

  5. You've had many wonderful posts that I've loved but this is my all-time favorite. Your photos are really beautiful and yes, the do cheer -- me, too! You covered the gamut and I loved each and every one!

  6. Those desserts look decadent. That sunset is so beautiful. And now I want to go to Paris to read on a bench. Thanks for sharing these!

  7. So many wonderful photos, and I recognise a few. I love The Thinker, and Rhodin's garden is lovely.

  8. I can certainly see why those photos cheered you up. They are wonderful. And, no, those stairs are not ADA compliant. LOL

  10. That sunset! Those stairs (which I would not even dare go near, not anymore). I've never been off of the North American continent (I am deathly afraid of flying and haven't flown in 30 years) but Paris could get me on a plane....maybe.
