Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each Tuesday That Artsy Reader Girl assigns a topic and then post her top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join her and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
As usual I am scribbling down titles to explore later. You will laugh about some of the books on my list. I had a hard time finding honorifics in books I've read so I stretched.
ReplyDeleteOOh nice picks! I am realizing I forgot to search for several other honorifics that would've made completing my list a lot easier on myself! Lol. Great picks here!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I watched the Mrs. 'Arris movie when we were in England and when it was on Hulu the other night recorded it. So lovely. I think I'd like the book.
ReplyDeleteSomeday I should read Madame Bovary!
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Can you believe I’ve never read Little Lord Faunterloy? :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by earlier.
I've read three of these! I'd completely forgotten about Little Lord Fauntleroy.
ReplyDeleteI like this list!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great list of titles. I've read two on the five-star list and two on the four-star list so there are more for me to explore.
ReplyDeleteIt was my suggestion for the topic this week and I'm loving all these choices! I listened to the audio version of Mrs Harris Goes to Paris and it was fabulous. I've also got Mrs Benson's Beetle on my list - another I listened to the audiobook of and actually, I'm fairly sure it was the same narrator for both books.
ReplyDeleteHere's my list: https://portobellobookblog.com/2025/07/15/top-ten-tuesday-15th-july-2025-books-with-honorifics-in-the-title-toptentuesday-amreading-bookrecommendations-tuesdaybookblog/
I made my list by working backward from my last year's reading, so I didn't get as far back as Prince Caspian. Good one!
ReplyDeleteMy list is here and has Miss Benson's Beetle as well.
