Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each Tuesday That Artsy Reader Girl assigns a topic and then post her top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join her and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
OOh nice picks! I always forget that Shrek was a book too! I feel like I see it when I watch the movie but then I forget to look it up by the movie's end! Lol. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

I chuckled at the one showing, “No, David!” I think those words have been uttered to me a few times - and not only in childhood!
ReplyDeleteSome good ones here!

I was just thinking about The Monster at the End of This Book the other day!
ReplyDeleteAwww...poor Shrek. He wasn't so bad in the movie, in my opinion. Great set of titles for the theme.
ReplyDeleteHad no idea Shrek began as a book!
ReplyDeleteI didn’t know there was a Shrek book. Cute! Thanks for stopping by earlier. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the boys had any of these!
ReplyDeleteI remember several of those from my daughters' childhoods. I remember that "Green Eggs and Ham" was a particular favorite and I often had to read more than once at bedtime. Sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I loved the Hank the Cowdog books when I was a kid. :D
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about that David book - just had a flashback to my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI love your idea of villains in children’s books! ~Carol @ ReadingLadies

The Sesame Street book was one of my favorites. I think I still have it here. Dahl was good at villains. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog, Deb.

ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
No, David is funny. I'm sure we all had a kid we said this to a few times.
