Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each Tuesday That Artsy Reader Girl assigns a topic and then post her top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join her and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
Ooh nice picks! These are all new to me ones! Glad you found new reads that were amazing!

I need to check out that Ed Yong book. He’s a great author.
ReplyDeleteI like your approach to the topic. I wasn't feeling the topic this week, so I went back to one I missed earlier: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2026/01/27/top-ten-tuesday-most-anticipated-book-releases-of-2026/

ReplyDeleteSo many good books here! I was begging people to read Madelaine Albright's book when it came out and at each election. Sigh.... Thorn Birds, Cold Sassy Tree, Miss Read, Comfort of Crows!! Roots! Wow!
ReplyDeleteClearly, I need to add quite a few of your titles to my list for the near future. You are quite a reading inspiration.

These are wonderful discoveries! As a fantasy lover, I hope you love all the fantasy books you try 😉. Nature and science books are about the only non-fiction books I'm ever going to be interested in reading. I should read some this year. I hope you make many more amazing discoveries 😊.

What a great list of books! So many different types of books. I loved The Thorn Birds and Roots back in the day. Two all time classics.
ReplyDeleteI used to love the Miss Read books! And hurray for poetry indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your list of books!
ReplyDeleteFor me, the love of history and science has always been there. It just depends how the stories are told that impact my enjoyment of the book.

What a great list! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you've shown these.Team of Rivals is one of my TBRs - I really should have read it before now.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I really need to read 1984 this year. I bought it this past fall, but it feels like I'm just going to be so depressed at what's to come next in real life. I have finally started reading more sc-fi last year and it's been so fun! I hope you find many more amazing books this year!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, Howl's Moving Castle! It's a comfort read for me at this point (and I like the Studio Ghibli adaptation too, though it's very different).
