I love making jalapeno poppers, but I'm such a wuss that I take the majority of the heat out of them! Good luck at the chili cookoff!

Pretty! I have some in my freezer from when I was getting too many in the summer. Time to get them out again.

I honestly didn't know that jalapenos came red. one weekend last year when i was visiting son at college, we bought a big bag of various chilies so he could photograph them for an assignment. Turned out nice.

Ahhh, those make me yearn for the warmer temperatures and gardening of summer :)
