Paris in July 2015: Buttons

Paris in July 2015 will be coming in a few weeks.

In the meantime, Thyme for Tea has announced a contest
to design a button for Paris in July 2015.

Here are some buttons I made today.
Do you like any of these?
Which one should be my entry in the contest?

  2. Awesome! Each one has a difference reflection of Paris and France - and I think I have similar memories. Thanks for participating - we will see what else others come up with... but these are great!

  4. Actually I like them all except for the lavender. Honestly I like that too—I just replanted a lavender plant that I almost killed and am hoping to bring back to life—but it speaks more to the countryside than Paris to me.

    1. Of course you are right. (I actually took the lavender picture in Provence.) Maybe lavender is more French than strictly Parisian.

    2. It's probably more associated with Provence, but there's a rather delightful lavender field in Tuileries that in season smells magnificent (I haven't been to Provence, and I'm sure it's but a mere fraction of the smell there), but still it's nice.

  5. They all look great! I hardly dare to show mine, I have prepared two! But will join the competition anyway, since I think it is a great thing to see how differently we think of Paris.

  7. For me it's a toss up between the Mona Lisa and the Eiffel Tower...I'm counting down for Paris in July too (I was so excited I read my French book 2 weeks early - now I have to read another one !!)
