San Francisco is certainly a book reading city. We've seen fourteen bookstores, none of them chains.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are City Lights and Green Apple.
I'd certainly love it if we had more Texas bookstores!
I am very jealous. I have a few Ferlinghetti books (and of course, Ginsberg too) and just read a collection of poetry from the company.
ReplyDeleteI hate to enflame your jealousy, but there is a big room upstairs that is devoted just to poetry. It was wonderful.
