How Fiction Works

Tomorrow it's back to school. Sigh.

I will be very happy to be back at school but it was such a lovely holiday. I read lots and lots of delicious books.

I just started one such delicious book. Much more delicious than the bland cover or bland title had prepared me for. How Fiction Works. Okay, I've only read the first chapter, but I've already learned about a hundred things.

More later...

  3. Thank you for the comment on my blog - I thought I might reciprocate :)

I would LOVE to hear your review of this book when you have finished. Since I teach English (variety of grade levels), I am always on the look out for good reads that will help me help the students.

I must return to school for an in-service tomorrow, and then "real" school on Wednesday. I sympathize with your sigh.

  4. Want to read this one soooo badly. It's teetering atop my Amazon wishlist waiting for me to have a weak moment.

  5. Thanks for coming by. I will favorite you and probably put you on my blogroll when I have a batch of new people which will be soon.
Are you Spanish or just fluent in the language?

Every day I find new things to be happy about reclaiming my home. And I am fortunate in that my kids are not very far away - about twenty minutes will bring us to each one.
