In Mexico with Pepe

Lots and lots of picture books this week. Not a disappointment in the bunch.




I'm off in Mexico. I'm here to speak Spanish. I'm with a team of dentists. I'm bringing Pepe and a few books to help me entertain kids while the dentists work on their parents' teeth. I welcome your prayers.

    You've got some of my favorite picture books. I love Leo Lionni's books. Amazing Grace, Stinky Cheese Man, and Owl Moon are also great.

    All these picture books are from the 1001 Children's Books You Must Read book.

    Mexico was lovely. I'm happy to be home, nevertheless. Pepe is, too.

    Wow! My husband will never again be able to complain about me taking too many books with us when we travel. I'll have to show him your photo. Hope you had a great time, sounds amazing and interesting. And you've read a heap (literally) of books.....

    Owl Moon was one of my daughter's favorites (and mine!).
