Top Ten Tips For New Book Bloggers

(10) "Build it and they will come" is just for ballparks.
For blogs, I'd advise,
"Build it and visit other people's blogs; then they will come."
If you (9) leave a comment.
(8) Always leave a comment.
(7) Visit other people's blogs.
(6) Leave comments.
(5) Do you want to make some friends?
Then I suggest you visit other people's blogs...and...
(4)...Are you getting my message...It's simple, really. Just visit other blogs...
(3)...visit lots of other blogs...
(2)...lots and lots of blogs...and...
Last of all, and most important, (1) COMMENT

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

    1. Me, too.

It took me a long time to realize that if I wanted people to read my posts I'd have to visit their blogs first.

    1. Oh me! Fan. What a powerful word. I'm quite certain that I'm not worthy of that word.

Maybe this summer, when my school is over and I have a few hours to breathe....

And thank you for making my day.

  14. I agree 100% as a brand new blogger myself, the follows mainly trickle in from the other people I check out and comment on. Because really, if you want to make a friend in the blogging world, it starts with that warm and fuzzy feeling you can give them by commenting on their posts. Also BTW since this is the first time I've stopped by, I love your graphic of the librarian!

  16. HAHAHAHA. :'D Yeah, leaving comments is always a very good idea. I actually did some testing as to how much it would influence my comment and regular stats, and hoshit! My eyes almost fell out. XD

  23. Hahaha. I think that's one of the most important things to make sure your blog gets noticed by people :) I always try to visit at least 5 blogs every day. It isn't so hard and it doesn't have to take so much time :)

And when I'm busy with a meme like this one, I go crazy in commenting around, haha. Meaningful comments, to be precise :)
