What Arrived in the Mail
Yes, it's Cybils time! My poor mail carrier! (Note: At the conclusion of the judging, these will be donated to my school library. Thank you, publishers.) |
What I'm Reading Now |
What are you reading today?!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.
Wow! That's a lot of books! Hope you enjoy them all!

It is a lot of books! Twenty-five in the mail to me this week!
DeleteI was wondering if you needed to buy all the Cybils nominees- glad to hear that you don't. Still, it's a lot of reading, and then wow- your library must explode. I'm intrigued by that On the Map, I've started seeing it about, will be interested in your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI was able to find lots of them at the library, too.
DeleteLook at all of those fantastic children's books! Have fun reading them all!
ReplyDeleteI thought Buddy was a really cute read, hope you did too! I have On The Map sitting on my tbr pile right now and I'm looking forward to it.
Have a great week!!

DeleteLooks like you got some great picture books. I liked The Prisoner of Zenda when I read it years ago. Your nonfiction books look interesting too. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeletePrisoner of Zenda reminds me (somehow) of Oscar Wilde's writing.
DeleteAll those children's books look adorable. I am especially interested in Bambino and Mr. Twain, I will have to check back for your review. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Yes, I must get busy and start reviewing.

ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Happy I work at a primary school!
DeleteI really want to read the Lamott. I think I've only read one of her books so far - I must get on that!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week. :)
Love Lamott. A must-read.
DeleteLol - yes indeed to your poor mail carrier :-) But yay for you having a ton of awesome books to read.
ReplyDeleteBuddy sounds like a fun read. My children are moving past picture books now, I am a little sad to see that happening I must admit
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week!

Ooh! Look at all those great books!
ReplyDeleteBuddy looks so good! Enjoy all your Cybills reads!
ReplyDeleteBlack Bread White Beer by Niven Govinden, Easter Rabbit By Joseph Young (again) & An Anthology of Irish Poetry.
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful books! I love how there are so many picture books about history and historical characters. You always read such interesting self-help books too. Love them!xx
ReplyDeleteMy copy of Buddy is sitting here right atop Mt. TBR. McGrory's columns in The Boston Globe are a joy to read whether you agree with his stated opinions or not. I've also been dipping into Help Thanks Wow and have decided just to Post-It flag the entire book.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great week, both with reading and your mailbox!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those great books for kids; enjoy. That Buddy the chicken book makes me curious. I can't imagine how he would change someone's life LOL
