I could read these books to the children in my library
a hundred times and they'd still beg,
"Read it again!"
What books are you thankful for?

ReplyDeleteLove your design for this TTT! It's pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Thank you!
DeleteI can't believe I've never read anything from Dr. Seuss. I don't think we had many or any books from him when I was little. I plan to fix that.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I can't believe that either! But it's never too late.
DeleteSame here at my library! The kids love those books. I do find the illustrations for the No, David books a little creepy, but the kids love them. And Mo Willems! Love him to pieces. The kids love finding the pigeon in his other books.
ReplyDeleteAnd Where is the Green Sheep - I love that one. The kids love guessing what each sheep is. So good.
Great list! :)
Mem Fox is classic.
DeleteOh that's so sweet. Made me think of my beloved "There's a Monster at the End of this Book."
ReplyDeleteThat's one I haven't read.
DeleteI love the picture you made! It's adorable.
ReplyDeleteDr Seuss is another one I'm thankful for. I'm not sure everyone else in my family loved listening to his books on cassette when we had roadtrips but I loved getting to recite Yurtle the Turtle along with the tape.
Great list :)
How would we have survived without Dr. Seuss?
DeleteI have yet to read something from Chris Van Allsburg. I have my eye on his The Mysteries of Harris Burdick. And maybe Jumanji too. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything he writes is breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteI love the collage! Definitely Dr. Seuss. This makes me want to read The Polar Express, especially with the holidays nearby. :) Great picks!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the Green Sheep is such a great book! I loved reading it to my son when he was a baby. Here's my list - a little bit different to yours! http://bit.ly/Y1jrZS
ReplyDeleteAhh, Brown Bear, Brown Bear! The Polar Express! I love this list and how it's all children's books! Thanks for sharing and stopping by!
