What did you finish last week?
What do you hope to read this week?
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.
My children are big fans of the Spiderwick Chronicles, I hope you enjoy. Have a good reading week.
ReplyDeleteLove all the Spiderwick books. I also loved Relish and love graphic novels in general.

I hope to read The Obituary Writer soon...it's resting comfortably on Sparky.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week! Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
I read Lucy Knisley's first book French Milk. I'd be interested in this one too.

ReplyDeleteWishing you a fab reading week,

The Spiderwick Chronicles are a good read. Have a good week and happy reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the Lair!
ReplyDeleteAs for how I keep up? I do housework/laundry at the last minute, don't have a paying job and my kids are over 20 ;-) As for ARCs I'm being buried.
Looking forward to seeing what you thought of Spiderwick. I couldn't get pass book 1 and never went back to try again.
Ha, I just forced my 11 yr old to watch the Spiderwick Chronicles movie. Of course she loved it as I knew she would. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Memes post.
This is What Happy Looks Like sounds cute! I will have to check it out. Relish is on my TBR as well. :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIf you liked the book about the animals and what they can teach us, perhaps The philosopher and the woolf is also a book for you!
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved the Spiderwick film, I did not know that it was based on a book, good to know.
Kind regards,
The new Spiderwick Chronicles look interesting. My kids loved the movie.
ReplyDeleteThe week just started and I've already finished a graphic novel and My Ideal Bookshelf. Did you ever finish coming up with your ideal bookshelf? :-)
I hope you enjoy your last week of school.
I'm really hoping to get to Relish soon, along with her first book!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic week :)
Oww Spiderwick... enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe Obituary Writer looks intriguing.
Have a great week :)
Ooooh, I want to know MORE about what you thought of The Obituary Writer AND Relish! I liked both, but Relish was outstanding in my book.

I have The Hottest Dishes of Tartar Cuisine sitting here to get to sometime so it's good to see you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteYou had a really busy reading week! Have fun with the Spiderwick book. I enjoyed the movie, and have been meaning to check out the books. (Someday!)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you; I was working flat-out on a project due Monday (today.)
The book about animals sounds really good. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI like the cover for the Ann Hood book. I'm reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Forever in Blue by Ann Brashares.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these, although I'd like to read This Is What Happy Looks Like.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading.
I love the sheer variety of your reading week - and then there's the Spiderwick chronicles.... I read the first book to a group of third graders a couple years ago. They loved it. I should probably continue on with the series next year - we have the first through the fifth books in our library. :) Haven't seen the movie though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
I love the cover for The Obituary Writer! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
