Hiking in Utah: The Fairyland Loop, Bryce Canyon National Park

We were under the impression that the Fairyland Loop was an easy trail, mostly flat, but quite long. We can do that, we thought.

We do finish it. Barely.

For us flatlanders, the 1,556 ft. elevation gain is the most difficult part. Though its length---8.49 miles---is daunting, too.

  1. The Brice Canyon ! My big love ! I loved it more then anything else in the States even more then the Gran Canyon. I had never seen such a beautiful rocky landscape and all in red !
A bit similar, but in white I had seen in Turkey. Strange how the earth is made !
