ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go rockhounding! I've got a couple books, and I'm currently staying in New Mexico, but I'm so DERP when it comes to figuring out what the cool minerals/gems look like in raw form. Thanks for the pics, now I know what to look for next time I'm in a garnet area!
