Great photo's!
ReplyDeleteGreat captures! The last one made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is about as close as I wanted to get to a bear.
DeleteWow...that is cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the chipmunk
ReplyDeleteThe chipmunk is so cute. What is the non-chicken crossing the road?
ReplyDeleteNot sure what the non-chicken is...a pheasant?
DeleteJust googled a bit, it's some form of grouse.
DeleteNo identifying signs in the wild and wild animals are reluctant to introduce themselves. Thanks for the Googling.
DeleteBeautifully composed shots. I love the fossil, and the last shot is funny and closes the seriesl like a story.
ReplyDeleteWow! I would love to drive around and have those sight.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wordless Wednesday!

How wonderful! You saw some awesome critters. The fossils are so cool.
ReplyDeleteThat fossil is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow! Those photos take me back...my family took a road trip when I was twelve, and we went through Wyoming, among other states, and I was especially drawn to the buffalo (or are they bison?). Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteI loved the photos!
ReplyDeleteHere is my post
The last photo is a good one for a close up of a bear. Don't get that close to a real one! We have had a couple of injuries in Yellowstone Park to tourist who forget that animals are wild. I think that is a female pheasant too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour lovely photos made me want to go on a road trip. I enjoyed seeing the variety of animals you "captured," especially the fossilized fish. Fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog.
Love the bear! How great to see so much wildlife in situ whilst on holidays.
ReplyDeleteThat's also a fantastic fossil specimen.
That is a good variety! I like the fossil very much. A great reminder of past.
ReplyDeleteThe fossil photo is my favourite. Love how it's mixed in with the rest, though I suppose when you said animals you didn't specify if they were alive or dead.
ReplyDelete- Linking over from Saturday Snapshots
