What I Might Read Next Two books arrived from Australia, both on our 1001 Children's Book list.... Thank you, Louise! Taronga The Nargun and the Stars |
What are you reading today?!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.
Paris in Love is on my shelves. I have heard Wild is a very good book and it's one I will have to search out! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI have the feeling young people will connect with Wild completely.
DeleteThe Paris in Love book looks smashing!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great summer read, with tiny clever observations about Paris and life.
DeleteThe cover for The Nargan is so creepy - in a good way :-) I hope you enjoy all your books this week :-)
ReplyDeleteI have Paris in Love on my tbr list - it looks like a fun book!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog!
~Kristin @ Always With a Book
Thought I'd move the book info thread to here. The Davy Crockett autobiography - I totally expect it (at least some of it) to be written phonetically... and certainly not with modern english. I'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteNice! Can't believe you can juggle 3 books at once! I'm still and always will be a one book at a time girl!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
Here's my Monday Wrapup
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Often I have more than that!
DeleteWow, you have great books. I want to read Wild too. It really sounds like a good book.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you will like Wild.
DeleteI have Paris in Love waiting in the wings too. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. Same thing for the other two of course. I know almost nothing about either of them.
ReplyDeleteParis in Love...we just can't pass up those books about Paris, can we? This one is especially good.
DeleteI think Wild looks really good!
ReplyDeleteYes, I recommend it.
DeleteI really enjoyed Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake...hope you do, too. I'm very curious about Wild.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
I've got the Anna Quindlan on my Kindle but haven't got to it yet. Reading Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews.
ReplyDeleteI'll be curious as to what you think of it.
DeleteLooks like you have a great week ahead of you. Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake especially sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes, I finished it today and I recommend it. At least for Baby Boomers.
DeleteI'm not a Baby Boomer, but maybe I could enjoy it anyway. =)
DeleteI hope you're enjoying the Anna Quindlen - other reviewers made it sound a little boring, I thought. Paris in Love sounds like a nice and light read.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Really? Interesting.
DeleteLots of candle, plenty of cake...... It's such a jovial title. I wish it was my birthday... :|
ReplyDeleteI wonder what young people think of it....perfect for my age group (old).
DeleteI really want to read Wild. Sounds like a great read! I'll have to remember to stop by again to read your review. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
If I ever get around to writing it!
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these ones to be honest, but they definitely have some interesting covers. :) That Oregon Trail one reminds me of the computer game. :D I loved that game...except someone always ended up dying of typhoid...or a snake bite. :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting on my Monday post, Deb! :D
Happy Reading!
I just got back from Oregon, snake-bite-free, but, sadly, not scorpion-bite-free.
DeleteI've not heard of any of these books, but Paris in Love certainly looks very interesting! Hope you enjoy reading these books. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteParis in Love is a great summer read.
DeleteHello. :) Unfortunatly, I have not heard of any of these books. Perhaps I should look into them. Thanks for dropping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI have Lots of Candles checked out too. I can't wait to listen to it. Did you ever finish Thinking, Fast and Slow? I hope you have a great relaxing week!
ReplyDeleteI'm still reading Thinking Fast and Slow...slowly. ;->
DeleteLooking forward to your Earthsea review!
ReplyDeleteJust found that book while emptying my bookshelf and put it in the TBR pile :)
Love the 'might read' part- I might adopt it as 'Reading next' always seems to jinx my reading pattern!
Have a lovely week :)
I always regret saying that I'm going to read a book....Worse case in point: War and Peace.
DeleteI haven't been reading much (and here I am on my computer going through my Google Reader!), but I am reading a nice WWI mystery
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of any of these books, but I like the cover por Paris in Love.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!

Victor Kelleher and Patricia Wrightson! Wow, that's taken me back to my childhood. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Those two authors are completely unfamiliar to me.
DeleteOoo, I'm excited to hear what you thought about Wild -the Oprah's Book Club book. Paris in Love is awesome, you'll like it!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading this week! What are YOU reading @ The Brunette Librarian??
Stopped by to wish you a great reading week!
ReplyDeleteShelleyrae @ Book'd Out
