What I Read Last Week

I read and read and read TransAtlantic and Americanah last week and I'm happy to say that I finished both of them. Happy day. Now I'll be all set to see the two authors when they do a joint reading on Monday, November 18th.

What are you reading this week?

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia at The Printed Page. We share books that we found in our mailboxes last week.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between!  This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from! I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme.

  5. I've heard great things about Americanah. What did you think of it?

  6. Americanah was thoughtful, especially if you are interested in immigration.

  7. Red Knit Cap Girl to the Rescue looks really cute! Enjoy your week!

  8. Have fun meeting the authors.

The Lady Catherine book looks good.

    ENJOY your week.

  9. Tomorrow, When the War Began sounds interesting. How are you liking it in audio?

  10. Red Knit Cap Girl is such a cute title - seems to come with an equally adorable cover too!

    Happy reading,

    Ellen @ Glamorous Book Lounge

  11. The Lady Catherine book is well written and compelling. I'm honestly tsurprised to find it is that good!

  12. Tomorrow is a big series in Australia. Seven books, apparently. Exciting story of being invaded and teens attempting to fight back. A little improbable perhaps.

  13. I read Tomorrow a few years ago, it was a bit improbable I guess, but I remember it being very exciting.

  14. We found it a little hard to believe . Could teens really sneak up on armed professional soldiers?
