What are little free libraries? I've seen them mentioned a couple of times now, but I have absolutely no idea what they are. A day to just read. Best. Day. Ever.
Lovely! I love all the pictures of stacks of books! That makes me pretty happy just seeing it. A day to just read sounds heavenly. It's been awhile since I've had one but I think that's what I most looking forward to when the kids are older.
I am so jealous of little free libraries. I'm not allowed to have one because our dogs would spend the day parking at all of the patrons it would draw. But maybe one day, if we switch over to cats....
My neighborhood doesn't have any Free Little Libraries. I have seen a lot of people talk about them, yet I have never actually seen one. They sound really cool though, and I'm glad that you get to participate in them. Great post! :)
A little free library was recently installed in my town, but I haven't had a chance to go along and check it out yet: it's something I'll definitely need to do. I agree with seeing children reading in the library/reading to them - running a story time is so unbelievably rewarding! Great choices :)
Oh, I'm actually going to a book festival and meeting some of my favorite authors this weekend so it's going to be amazing! I love watching little kids read, too, even though that sounds super creepy. Especially when it's a book I love/d as a child, like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson.
Fantastic list. I would love to set up a little free library. I was thrilled to come across a place where you could do a weekend workshop to build your library but was cross to discover it was in Sydney... Maybe I need a weekend away?!

Library conferences are the best! Also, I would love to see a Free Little Library and go to a book festival. :)
