Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
There's a couple here I could read for Paris in July :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm really, really trying to hold off on Pancakes and Nanette!
DeleteGreat list! The Summer Before the War looks like the perfect historical fiction title to read during the summer, I hope to check it out at some point :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Summer Before the War is perfect for summer. Very gentle story, yet with enough kick to keep you reading.
DeleteLots of goodies there. Pancakes in Paris appeals. I googled that and found an old kids book called Pancakes-Paris, it is particularly difficult to find and I suspect long out of print, but I long to find it now.
ReplyDeleteIf I'd been born in Paris (as I should have been), I'd have read all the old children's books from Paris.
DeleteHuh I have not heard of any of these titles but some look fun and that is key in a summer read!
ReplyDeleteFun. Yes!
ReplyDeleteSounds like great summer books. I hope you enjoy them. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and for stopping by my TTT earlier.
Me, too!
DeleteI did not know there was a new Telgemeier graphic novel coming out! My students will be so pleased.
ReplyDeleteYes. I got it and a very cute Raina book bag at the library conference.
Deletesounds like a great plan! enjoy! I will probably post mine on June 2 or 3
ReplyDeleteI hope to see your plan for summer reading.
DeleteWhat is laughable about this list is I know you will read triple or quadruple numbers of books to those you've listed. I am going to try to be very precious with my list this year and dump any clunkers that come along before I invest too much time on them.
ReplyDeleteOf course you are right....I've already finished two of these!
DeleteThese look like a good variety of fun summer reads - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteReading With Jade
I'm all for variety.
DeleteGreat picks for this week! They sound interesting and there's definitely a couple I'll be adding to my to-read list! :D
ReplyDeleteMy daughter will want to read Ghosts for sure.
