I still have eighteen books on my Goodreads To-Read list, so that should be the next place I go to plan my spring reading, I think.
Which of these should I aim to read over the next few months?
White Sands...
Carry On, Jeeves...
Appointment in Samarra...
The Eight...
Rarely Seen: Photographs of the Extraordinary...
Word Catcher: An Odyssey into the World of Weird and Wonderful Words...
Any Human Heart...
The House in Paris...
Little Pleasures of Paris...
The Narrow Road to the Deep North...
Three Men in a Boat...
What should I read next?
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
My kiddo and I enjoyed Highly Illogical Behavior.

I didn't think Three Men in a Boat is as funny as I had hoped it would be. Humor is so grounded in events of the day. I'll be curious what you think of it.

I really liked Highly Illogical Behavior. I recently re-read Three Men in a Boat and found it pretty juvenile. I wasn't as blown away by Jellicoe Road as others were, but liked it okay. Stuff Parisians Like sounds right up your alley, and the Nat Geo book sounds like a fun (and quick) read.
ReplyDeleteInteresting list! The only title I read off it was Orthodoxy and I sort of want to revisit it if I can at some point as I don't think I appreciated it as much when I read it the first time. Happy reading :)

So sad. I've never heard most of the list before. Lol. Ehm, I am falling in love with Anne's cover. I think I would like to searc it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog earlier.
I haven't many on the list. I'd pick based on my mood.
ReplyDeleteAnne of Green Gables must be a reread for you? You have some intriguing Paris titles (always good) including some I've not heard of before. Actually I haven't heard of lots of your books before.... I'd go with On Jellicoe Road.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for Highly Illogical Behavior! It seems to be well loved, so the odds are in your favor! Good luck. :D
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend you read Jellicoe Road. It's such a beautiful and entertaining read!
