What are you reading today?!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.
I am reading Nevermore by James Patterson, It's the final flight for the flock.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of the series. James Patterson knows how to write!
DeleteI somehow missed Without Reservation and Educating Alice...just added both to my WishList :) Can't wait to see what you think.
ReplyDeleteI love travel narratives.
DeleteI look forward to your review of Maine. The Secret Garden is one of my all time favorites and Educating Alice looks fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins and just finished one by Jennifer Haigh called The Condition.
Enjoy your week!
I read Maine while I was in...where else?...Maine!
DeleteOOh nice! Been years since I read the Secret Garden!

Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Loved, loved, loved Secret Garden.
DeleteFire in the Ashes looks like something I might pick up! And I loved The Secret Garden and A Wrinkle in Time. Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteFire in the Ashes is powerful reading.
DeleteI thoroughly enjoyed Maine...and a few months ago, read The Secret Garden for the first time! I had it on Sparky, so I didn't get to enjoy the lovely cover or illustrations. Wish I had read it as a child....
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, and enjoy your week.
Maine is a great story. It would be a good read for those interested in family dynamics.
DeleteEducating Alice looks good! Secret garden was one of my favourites this years! :)
ReplyDeleteI like how Alice visited spots around the world and learned something at each spot.
DeleteReading twin, I have Fire in the Ashes on hold at the library now. :-) Enjoy your stack.
ReplyDeleteIt is almost eerie how closely our minds work!
DeleteI haven't heard of Educating Alice before but it looks like a great read. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI finished it today. Good read!
DeleteI loved the movie The Secret Garden when I was growing up. I really should read the book.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the movie. Thanks for sharing that!
DeleteMaine looks good! I hope you enjoyed reading it! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading :)
Maine was good!
DeleteI remember reading A Winkle in Time in school and hating it. I remember my kids hating it when they had to read it. I remembering taking their copy and reading it a few years ago and loving it. Some books just get better when you read them at the right age.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!!
It is odd how that works. You are right. You have to read the books at the right time.
DeleteThe Secret Garden and A Wrinkle in Time were among my favorite books when I was a girl.
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteI'm partway through The Bedlam Detective by Stephen Gallagher and it's great so far!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog through the It's Monday! What are You Reading blog hop and now following your blog :)
So glad you came by!
DeleteA huge fan of The Secret Garden :) It's a wonderful story and just takes you to a whole new world.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week :) The Brunette Librarian's Blog
Such a happy story. And not in that fake way that some children's books are happy.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Secret Garden when I read it just a few months ago! I can't wait to read your review on Maine. :)
ReplyDeleteI read LOTS of kid historical fiction books the last couple of weeks!
