Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
Nice way to present the quotes! :) Some of my favorite ones as well :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. It's a nice little iPad app called Canva.
DeleteFantastic quotes! I particularly like the C.S. Lewis one.

I love the quotes and the way you set this up. The Alice in Wonderland quote is one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteLove your quotes. Such a variety in this topic. Enjoying looking at what everyone chose. I love that Teddy Roosevelt quote and I don't think I've ever read it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you arranged with all the photos!

Wonderful way to highlight the author along with their quote. Some classic ones there and fantastic. ~ Perpetual New Girl
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of posts and the way you presented them! Interesting choice from Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet; it was an excellent collection and it's something to keep in mind :)

What a meaningful selection of quotes! I loved reading through them. You've picked some great quotes. Thank you for stopping by my blog earlier. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think your batch of quotes has been my favorite so far. C.S. Lewis and and Ray Bradbury and Robert Pirsig all in one spot!!! (I posted a Ray Bradbury quote too). And I am indebted to you for finally discovering who quoted "to live content with small means". Thank you for this inspiring collection.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT
Love the Ray Bradbury and the Lewis Carroll ones.
ReplyDeleteWow, heavy stuff! I do love the ray Bradbury quote though. Today's topic is making my brain do a lot of work! Great quotes!

You certainly did select some inspiring quotes. I was cracking up, however, as I read several of the quotes I would look at the faces in the picutres and so many of them were frowning men. It made me laugh at the sight. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love quotes and thank you for posting these! I think I like Theodore Roosevelt's the best out of this bunch, though all of them are wonderful. But I don't agree that "cutting edge fashion" is important, Mr. Rushdie ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not so into cutting-edge fashion either.
