Essayer at the Musée du Louvre

Essayer: Trying out. From which comes the English word "essay."

And I hope you'll stop by and throw your name in the hat
to win a finished hardback of Eight Hundred Grapes
along with a clever little EHG coffee mug.
Stop by here to win!

  13. I remember all the artists in the French museums trying their hand at "copying" the masters. And, I have a copy of Eight Hundred Grapes which seems to be the IT book of the summer; looking forward to reading it, although I'm not usually a fan of what's popular. ;)
