Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
Carry On is on my list as well. I love the one previous book by Rowell that I've read. I'm curious about The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend and now I want to find out more about Only in Naples. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI still think about Eleanor & Park.
DeleteI've read Carry on and it is a wonderful book. I hope you like it too :)
ReplyDeleteIt's that kind of good buzz that helps me decide what to read.
DeleteI'm still on the fence about City On Fire. Am hearing mixed things. Long book. I have a copy of Fates and Furies and will read it someday. And The Readers Of Broken Wheel Recommend also sounds great - for the book references alone. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAfter hearing your thoughts, I have joined you on the fence.
DeleteI really want to read Our Souls at Night. I don't know what stopped me from picking up The Dust that Falls from Dreams, I loved the other books by de Bernieres that I read...Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
The only bad thing about Dust is that it's very long.
Deleteah, we have one in common! And I plan to read all of Haruf, I have enjoyed his first one a lot: http://wordsandpeace.com/2016/01/19/top-ten-books-ive-recently-added-to-my-tbr/
ReplyDeleteYes, and I just learned that he recently passed away.
DeleteThe Geography of Genius sounds interesting, especially when the blurb includes "what is in the air and can we bottle it?" My TTT
ReplyDeleteI've got that one here right now!
DeleteI've got three of them on request at library (all audio).
ReplyDeleteMmm...I should see if I can find any of them in audio.
DeleteOoh nice! Those are all new to me reads! Hope you get to read them all soon!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I'm already making headway on several.
DeleteCarry On is on my list too! I didn't like Fangirl as much but I did enjoy reading the teaser we got.
ReplyDeleteRajoy your books!
Paulina @ The Little Book Pixie.
I wasn't wild about Fangirl either, but I'm hopeful for Carry On.
DeleteI really want to read Carry On too, after loving the Simon and Baz bits of Fangirl.
ReplyDeleteI loved Fangirl, so I've been excited for Carry On... although I haven't been in the mood to read fantasy for a little while, so that's why it's still sitting on my shelf :( Sorry you didn't like Fangirl as much. Hopefully you like Cath's fanfic parts bc that's pretty much what Carry On is (I think). Thanks for stopping by my list!!
ReplyDeleteThe Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend is a book I'm keeping my eye out for, but I haven't actually added it to my wishlist yet. I keep seeing it about, although I don't recall seeing a full on review yet. I could be lying with that statement - I see a lot of reviews day in day out. Haha!
ReplyDeleteThe most recent addition to my wishlist was The Vegetarian - hearing a lot about that one lately!
Reading With Jade
I've only read Carry On, but it was great. I hope you'll love it. Thanks for sharing, and for stopping by my TTT earlier. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend right now (review posting Friday) and I am loving it so far! My TTT
ReplyDeleteScritch, scritch, scritch. That is the sound of me copying your list.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in the Fates and Furies novel -- which I've heard so much about but haven't picked up just yet. It's on my radar too!
