Wow! Precious!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
Deb, totally interesting! What does your husband do with the gemstones? Does he set them in jewelry? That's a big stone. Nicely done! Come over link up and vote in today's BoTB, too! Have a fototastic day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHe still works 9 to 5, so right now he just does this as a hobby. Maybe in a few years he will do more....
DeleteThat is so cool, bet he makes you lots of Jewellery
ReplyDeleteYes. One of the happy benefits of being married to a gemcutter.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the color and how perfectly the shape represents the star. Thanks for sharing, and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure! I've never seen a stone cut in that way. Amethyst is my birthstone, and I love its purple hues, ranging from pale to almost-black. I hope you'll post more of your husband's beautiful creations.
ReplyDeleteHe's very clever. What are you going to do with it?
ReplyDeleteHe gives most of his stones away. He keeps some for a collection he occasionally takes to schools.
Deletelovely work of your husband. This one my daughter would love. She love this color and stars :)
