    1. It's a wonderful old book called The Viper by Lisa Thiesing.

      Here's the summary from Amazon: Peggy the pig receives a mysterious call from the Viper, warning that he is coming in one year. Repeated calls count down the time and add to the suspense. Who is the Viper? Based on an old summer camp story.

  6. Oh, that is precious! It is similar to the look i remember on each of my children's faces the day they realized that the pictures in the book and the words i was saying matched. You could see the surprise on their faces that they got it, and love of reading was born.
