I love to reread books, but I understand that many others don't love it. Can't say whether you should or not. You might try a chapter and see what you think. LOL

DeleteI've reread some iconic faves like The Stand or The Fountainhead only to be disappointed. Especially if you read them decades later like I did. You change so much over time you can't help but see books differently when you reread them.

I am not a big re-reader. The only books I've re-read are the Harry Potter books.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a bit of a risk to re-read books since they may not be as good a second time around. But they can also turn out just as great as you remembered :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite reread is probably Gilead. I’ve read in a at least three times. It was amazing every time I read it.

ReplyDeleteI read Ender's Game and really loved it but I read an epilogue he added later that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I do want to read the others you mention for the first time!
