A Sea of Moby Dicks---Who Knew There Were So Many Covers???

Which one do you think is best?

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each Tuesday That Artsy Reader Girl assigns a topic and then post her top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join her and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

  1. Wow! That's a lot! I distantly remember another cover that I had many many years ago when I attempted to read it myself! I love that one that looks like Jaws though! Lol!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. A fun collection! And mine's different again, the Bantam Classic with just the sea on the cover, no whale.

I think the one I (didn't) read in high school was the harpoonist (Ahab?) with a white background on the bottom row.

    1. I wonder how many different Moby Dick covers have been made.

  3. Amazing. I think my favorite is the second row, third from the left. It shows more ocean than whale, but I am someone who finds the ocean soothing.

  4. Wow, I never would have guessed there were so many different covers for Moby Dick. That's one classic I've tried to read multiple times but have never gotten more than a few pages into it. Have you read it? Did you enjoy it?

    My TTT.

    1. I'm trying. Power Moby Dick online is immensely helpful.

  5. So many covers!! I thought I would add one or two to my posts as we go along too.

I love simple designs at the moment - so the red cover appeals as does the blue one under it by 2 with just the white tale on it.
I've added this link to our linky :-)

    1. The bottom row, next to last picture is quite simple, too.

  6. I'm always amazed at how many covers there can be of one book. I used to be in an international book club and we always compared our covers. My favourite is probably the one second from the left in the first line, I love pictures of the sea.

But I also love the Penguin one you are reading and the one I read which is yet another cover. Look here.

    Happy Reading!

  7. So many covers! I like the second one in from the left on the second row down. It's elegant and classy.

  8. OH WOW. That IS a lot. I'm not at all shocked, really, but kind of am at the same time? I think my favourite is the last cover in the second to last row. Swoon.

  9. Because the red one is the ONLY one in red, I'd choose it off the shelf. LOL
