  1. Very peaceful feeling; I'd love a window like that with a nice comfy reading chair.

    1. This is a window at the Ruah Center, in Houston. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been, and it's smack-dab in the middle of a big city.

  2. Hi Deb! The world outside your window...

I saw your comment on my Wednesday Wisdom post. I do hope that the hurricane will pass your window by and that you can feel happy and at peace.

Here is another one of my Wednesday Wisdom that might bring a smile to your face. Wednesday Wisdom with Bertie Wooster

    1. I'm cautiously optimistic that this hurricane will pass to the east of us (and that's the best place for a hurricane to pass if it has to pass you by).

  4. So tranquil. Stay well and safe, my friend. I don't know if you are in the hurricane path, but do take care.

    1. Thanks, Jeanie. There was a mandatory evacuation last night just south of us in Galveston, and that put us on edge. But the cone of danger is just east of us now, so we are hopeful we'll get off with some wind and rain.

  5. Yikes Hurricane Laura looks like danger! Stay clear! A window scene can say so much .... especially during quarantine!

  6. Hope you guys will be OK over the next few hours and days. Not to be flippant, but I also wish we could get a little bit of that moisture that Laura is going to provide. Doesn't look like we will though. Take care!

  7. Looks like that would be a very peaceful place to walk or just sit outside and look around.
