Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each Tuesday That Artsy Reader Girl assigns a topic and then post her top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join her and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

  1. What a lovely thorough post on numbers! For time, you can also use 4:50 from Paddington, fractions - The seven and a half deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle or 5 quarters of the orange. And only numbers 11/22/63 and it's also a date!

Such great books with numbers. I love it!

  4. Oh wow!! Nice picks! I can't remember if I ever tried finding 1-10 on my shelves. It would be pretty close!

  5. Ooh The Book of Three. I read those as a kid. Always love a Dr. Seuss... and McCall's is a series I've thought about starting a few times.

  8. This is such a fun post and good mind game. What do I have? Ten Apples Up On Top, A Hundred Dresses, The Four Agreements, - just getting started. Love the numbers you used for the 1-10 too.. so cute

  9. This is awesome, Deb. You went above and beyond for sure. I love that you did them in order from 1 to 10 for the first bit. Several of these will be finding their way onto my TBR. I have read several of them already, or it could have done a lot of damage to that mountain I am trying to whittle down.

  10. I also managed to find books in sequential order from my TBR but just barely. ;) I loved 84, Charing Cross Road. Such a sweet book!

  11. I loved Enid Blyton when I was a kid, but for some reason I never read Famous Five or Secret Seven.

  16. What an excellent and inventive list of books! Those last three are the ones that jumped to my mind when I saw the prompt, oh and the Stephanie Plum series.

  17. I'd never heard of Two Old Women until we came to Alaska and now I see it everywhere. I have read it but I haven't reviewed it yet.

I love your extra credit choices at the end!

  18. Great list. I think amazon once found books with the numbers 1 to 100 in the title! I noticed that one of the blog book groups was reading 87 Orchard recently. Another memorable title: Cheaper by the Dozen. Or 100 years of Solitude.

  20. Well you did much better than I did - I tried doing 1-10 from books read in the past but couldn'tfind anything with 5. Stupidly I had forgotten about The Famous Five!

  21. Great list! I have the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency on my TBR. I really need to make the time to read it, especially as it is so short.
