What are books are you waiting for this fall?
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
I'm waiting for 1Q84 as much as you are, I'm dying to get my hands on Rules of Civility. I'm also waiting for 11/22/63 by Stephen King.
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books. Thanks for stopping by. The one on Machu Pichu really piqued my interest.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of any of these before! Gonna go check them out :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by @ The Broke and the Bookish!
I read TURN RIGHT . . . last week. Good stuff. Made me want to go back for another visit.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting!!! Never heard of these books before either ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been interested in reading The Tiger's Wife since the Orange July 2011 Reading event. Would love to read what you think about it! While the others, save fore IQ84, are not familiar to me, some of them sound and look so interesting!...especially Dawn of the Belle Epoque, Midnight Rising and Turn Right at Machu Picchu.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!:)
Good luck with your list! I've had my eye on Rules of Civility--it keeps popping up on other blogs. But it didn't make my list...Here's what I've got: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/08/top-ten-tuesday-fall-tbr.html
ReplyDeleteThe only one of these I've read is "The Tiger's Wife." I keep seeing things about "Rules of Civility" just about everywhere! And I probably would be looking forward to 1Q84, but I haven't read anything by Murakami - I think I need to fix that.
ReplyDeleteMy list is here.
I want to read The Night Circus too! Ready Player One was such a blast to read - I hope you get a chance to read it soon!
ReplyDeleteRules of Civility is fantastic! I want to read The Night Circus too.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. I love the cover for The Tiger's Wife.
ReplyDeleteI've got Ready Player One on my list too! Haven't heard of Tout Sweet but it looks great! And everyone is talking about the new Murakami book but I still want to go back and read some of his older works. I heard The Night Circus is great and I also want to read Beijing Welcomes You. In short, a fabulous list! :)
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I haven't heard/read any of the books you listed. I love that you have such a different taste in books from me. It gives me something to look at that's outside of my box.
ReplyDeleteI hope I acquire a copy of Turn Right soon. I think I am on the holds list at the library.
ReplyDelete@bookbelle, I am dying to get my hands on Rules of Civility as Well!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of The Night Circus on these lists but haven't heard of most of the others you list. I'd like to read something by Murakami but not sure which.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely waiting for IQ84 as well, there seems a lot of anticipation for that one. Ready Player One sounds interesting, going to have to check into that one further
ReplyDeleteGreat list. I like the look of THE DAWN OF THE BELLE EPOQUE, adding it to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteAlso the RULES OF CIVILITY, I think.
Didn't do a list this week because I wrote about my 25 most awaited books a couple of weeks ago.
Everyone seems to be talking about 'The Night Circus' ... I know it's not YA but I might have to check it out. =)
ReplyDeleteOh I would also love to read THE TIGER'S WIFE. I wanted to buy it for my birthday, but my local bookstore didn't have a copy! Ugh. Thanks for commenting, though. New follower!
ReplyDeleteQuite a few of these are on my TBR as well, especially The Night Circus. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteThere are tons of good books in here! The Night Circus and The Tiger's Wife are my list! :)
ReplyDeleteI have The Night Circus on my list as well and 1Q84. The Tiger's Wife was one of the books I most wanted to read this year, and I still haven't done it, so I suppose it should be on my list as well.
ReplyDeleteCome check out my list for the week here.
I have The Night Circus on my TBR list, and I'm reading (and enjoying!) Ready Player One right now. Looks like a great fall lineup!
ReplyDeleteNew follower here!
ReplyDeleteI've seen The Night Circus on so many TBR list that I think I gotta put it on mine now.
Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
Great list! I hope you get to enjoy them! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteA great list! You have listed a few titles that are new to me that I will be sure to check out. Thanks for sharing. Shelf Candy Meme
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower! Great list. I'm not familiar with some of these. Thanks for visiting my blog!
