It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

What I Finished Last Week

I'm finished!
I've read all five Indie Lit nonfiction finalists!
Reviews coming soon....

What I'm Reading Now

What I Might Read Next

It looks like 1Q84 is on its way to me again
from the library. I checked it out,
read 200 pages, and had to return it.
Think I'll finish all 900 pages this time?!

What are you reading today?!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between!  This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.

  1. I have Murakami on my radar! I would like to read a Murakami book but I'm scared, too. I think it would be a good summer challenge for me when I have more time (sort of). We'll see! I would love to hear what you think! :)

  4. I have that problem with behemoth books from the library too. I want to read 1Q84, but I don't think I can finish it that quickly! Good luck!

  5. I can't wait to read your thoughts about Sideways on a Scooter. The cover is kind of interesting but I don't know if it's for me. Right now I'm just dipping in and out of The Best American Essays of 2011. Have a good week.

  9. 1Q84 looks intense! I've been having the same problem--long books that are really popular so I have to return them to the library before I've finished them. We'll get them read eventually!

  10. I read Sideways on a Scooter about a month ago. Always nice to see a different perspective on India and this from a foreigner who lived there for a while to note the differences.

  11. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Indie Lit Awards nominees. I'm also making me way through one of them. 1Q84 is also a book I can't wait to read - hope you'll get to finish it this time.
