Any of these sound good to you? Want to join me for any? Do you have any other great book-ish ideas on your bucket list that I should borrow?
Love #1, it'll be difficult for me to part with books, but I like the idea. :)
ReplyDeleteOnce I couldn't part with my books, but now it is not a problem....I love to give away books and I rarely keep any.
ReplyDeleteThose are great goals! I want to do 5 and 6 too!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! A couple of those I have for myself (or something similar). Hope you get the opportunity to accomplish them all. BTW - your azaleas are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing everyone else's cool graphics, I feel like I need to make my list fancier!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sherry. When my azaleas bloom...that's when I know it's spring.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...I would love to drive a bookmobile and give away books! That would be living the dream for me. I love sharing books with others. Amazing idea!!
ReplyDeleteReading the 1001 Children's books sounds like lots of fun with lots of nostalgic moments when you come across and reread your childhood favourites!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts.

Love these! I never thought of living in a bookish place, but that would be very cool.
ReplyDeleteYes, in my dreams I'd drive a bookmobile around rural Mexico. Wouldn't that be fun?!
ReplyDeleteI just went over the halfway mark with the 1001 books.
ReplyDeleteIt would be lovely to live where everyone was walking around, reading books, wouldn't it?
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I love the idea of going on a 'book pilgrimage'. :)
ReplyDelete#5 to read the 1001 Childrens books is on mine too! Love the idea of the book mobile giveaways and seeing the libraries of the world.

I like the idea of driving a bookmobile. Hmmm. . .
ReplyDeleteDriving a bookmobile would be so much fun! I love how this is a Top Ten Tuesday. You may want to link up to the original Bookish Bucket List at http://www.thebookwheelblog.com/50-bookishthings/, too!
ReplyDeleteI've gone on several book pilgrimages, myself. I recommend visiting Portland, OR to see Powell's Books; visting Haworth England to see the Bronte home; Hartford, Connecticut where you can skip Mark Twain's home in favor of Harriet Beecher Stowe's which is much better; Hannibal, MO to see the boyhood home of Mark Twain who really did live across the street from "Becky Thatcher" and Victor Hugo's Paris apartment.
ReplyDelete:-)
I need to do a blog post soon on book pilgrimages. Thanks for your suggestions. I just received a book about taking these. Hope I can visit some of these sites before...well, before it's my time.
