What I Am Reading Now I have a huge stack of books that I requested from the public library just before school was out, very eclectic, including 1001 Foods You Must Taste Before You Die and Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth, and lots of 1001 Children's Books. |
What are you reading today?!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.
Storm Boy is one of my childhood favourites ... time for a reread I think. Evil Librarian looks like it could have a hint of humour with the 'scary' ... for your sake I hope so lol. Have a great week and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated with the idea that Storm Boy is a favorite. I'd never heard of it, but was surprised to see it on the 1001 CBYMRBYGU list, and (I hate to say this) it definitely under-whelmed me. What am I missing?
ReplyDeleteI saw The Evil Librarian at the BEA. I picked it up. It looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteENJOY all your books and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.
I hope you enjoy DELICIOUS too. My review will be up on Wednesday. Stop by if you can. How long is your wishlist on Amazon? :)
Elizabeth
My wishlist at Amazon never stays very long...I usually can't resist acquiring books that I really want to read.
ReplyDeleteEvil Librarian sounds good. I hope you enjoy it. I didn't bring any picture books home to read over the summer. I want to get books off my YA and Adult TBR mountains. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI need to jump into Evil Librarian, I think.
ReplyDeleteEvil Librarian? Now you have definitely piqued my curiosity. Enjoy all of your books...love that "What Are You Reading?" logo. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteHooray for your Armchair BEA prize! I just received mine a few days ago. I hope you enjoy The Evil Librarian!
ReplyDeleteCurious about Evil Librarian, looks like a fun read.
ReplyDeleteI am catching up on a cozy series today since the author is visiting my blog next week. So many books, so little time! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteEvil Librarian looks like fun, I may have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading.

The Evil Librarian books sounds like so much fun. I was able to snag a copy of that so I'll look forward to it. I love that Eye of the Wolf cover!
ReplyDeleteJourney to Jo'burg and Eye of the Wolf sound like good reads, I'm going to have to look into those and the 1001 Foods to Eat Before You Die. I love trying new food :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great reading week!
Thanks for stopping by my It's Monday post!

I can't wait to see how much you read over the summer- I know it will be stacks. How was Eye of the Wolf?
ReplyDeleteEye of the Wolf is brilliant. It could be a kid book, but it could also be a grownup book.
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful books! And thank you so much for telling me about the "1001 Children's books..." :) I'm going to the library this week to pick up my first book from this list! All the best from Anette :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a great list. I'm mostly reading these this summer.
