It's Monday! What Are You Reading?!

What I Read Last Week

I'm on a 1001 Children's Book roll. I read these six last week, I have a stack of twelve that I own which I hope to read this summer, and I have five more that I found at the public library.

What Arrived Last Week

This was my prize from Armchair BEA. I must admit that I'm a big baby when it comes to scary books. Hope it isn't too scary for me. What could be scarier than an evil librarian?

What I Am Reading Now

I have a huge stack of books that I requested from the public library just before school was out, very eclectic, including 1001 Foods You Must Taste Before You Die and Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth, and lots of 1001 Children's Books.

What are you reading today?!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between!  This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme Book Journey loves to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. Book Journey offers a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment telling BJ how many you visited.

  1. Storm Boy is one of my childhood favourites ... time for a reread I think. Evil Librarian looks like it could have a hint of humour with the 'scary' ... for your sake I hope so lol. Have a great week and happy reading :)

  2. I'm fascinated with the idea that Storm Boy is a favorite. I'd never heard of it, but was surprised to see it on the 1001 CBYMRBYGU list, and (I hate to say this) it definitely under-whelmed me. What am I missing?

ENJOY all your books and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

I hope you enjoy DELICIOUS too. My review will be up on Wednesday. Stop by if you can. How long is your wishlist on Amazon? :)

  5. Evil Librarian sounds good. I hope you enjoy it. I didn't bring any picture books home to read over the summer. I want to get books off my YA and Adult TBR mountains. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  14. I can't wait to see how much you read over the summer- I know it will be stacks. How was Eye of the Wolf?

  15. Eye of the Wolf is brilliant. It could be a kid book, but it could also be a grownup book.
