  4. Wow! You had an amazing week. I read Ordinary Jack years ago. I should tell my students about it. Sometimes I forget that it isn't just the new books that provide good reading. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  9. Fun list to look through, you reviewed a lot of different stuff last week. I still want to read 20,000 Leagues one of these days... and The accidental Connoisseur looks fun as well.

  10. I'm curious about The Accidental Connoisseur, love the cover and my husband loves books about wine. I also want to check out the Jane Gardam book. I struggled with 20,000 Leagues and didn't get through it. Have a great week!

  11. I really enjoyed Salinger Year--I checked it out from the library but I have a feeling I'm going to want to buy my own copy when it's out in paperback!

  12. Ha The Accidental Connoisseur looks right up my alley! The Summer Book looks good too.

I read That One Summer, and while I liked the illustrations, I am not sure how I felt about the story. The ending annoyed me! Lol.

  13. Yes, I saw your updates on goodreads and added a few to my to-read list. :) I just finished The Enchanted. One of those books that I would definitely recommend, although much of the subject matter is very dark.

  14. I'm about 4/5ths of the way through All the Light We Cannot See, and it, too, is very dark. I suppose, based on the title, that that is to be expected.

  15. I read the synopsis of All the Light We Cannot See and it sounds interesting. If you're going to write a review, then I'll wait for it. :)
