ReplyDeleteThe view was astonishing. I couldn't stop taking photos.
DeleteBeautiful ! I loved Chicago, such a nice city with all the old skyscrapers !
ReplyDeleteYes, such a nice city. Skyscrapers. And the amazing lake.
DeleteYou had a great view of the pier and fireworks! I've only been to Chicago a couple of times, once when my husband was considering taking a position there. We went to Oregon for a few years instead. Probably a better choice for us.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great view!
DeleteWhat a beautiful photo series!
ReplyDeleteI miss the Lakes! Nice series.
ReplyDeleteNice! One of the things I love about the city is the beautiful shoreline. But I'm usually seeing it from the ground - this is a much nicer perspective.
ReplyDeleteI was amazed when I opened the curtain in our room. It was stunning. I couldn't stop taking pictures.
DeleteNice! A wonderful photo series!
ReplyDeleteHappy ww from Nina

A lovely view. I love the ship.
ReplyDeleteThe ship was such a surprise.
DeleteAmazing views! And you really captured the grandeur of the scenes. Thanks for sharing...now I want to go there!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for visiting my blog.
lovely photos especially your 4th one :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. I have flown into the Chicago airport, a few times. No views like that! I especially like the one with the sailing ship!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures! I grew up in Chicago but I haven't been back in quite a while. It's always nice to see it again. :)
ReplyDeleteThat quadruple-masted boat in the fourth photo is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely view. I expected to see skyscrapers, but I like your photos better.

Deb, we go to Chicago now and then and I'd love to have that view. What hotel, might I ask?
ReplyDeleteIt's The W.
DeleteYour photos are nothing like the Chicago I've seen. My view has been mostly from the airport. Once my husband took me sightseeing there to visit his old college stomping grounds. To me, it was just another city. I might have liked Chicago better, if I'd seen the view in your photos. :-)
