  4. You had a great view of the pier and fireworks! I've only been to Chicago a couple of times, once when my husband was considering taking a position there. We went to Oregon for a few years instead. Probably a better choice for us.

  6. Nice! One of the things I love about the city is the beautiful shoreline. But I'm usually seeing it from the ground - this is a much nicer perspective.

  20. Your photos are nothing like the Chicago I've seen. My view has been mostly from the airport. Once my husband took me sightseeing there to visit his old college stomping grounds. To me, it was just another city. I might have liked Chicago better, if I'd seen the view in your photos. :-)
