    and I actually went to see La Tosca yesterday night, written a few years before Madame Butterfly. Almost as great as Verdi! loved it

  7. I hope this doesn't put an end to your opera-viewing career. I know I'm in the minority but I didn't really enjoy Madame Butterfly. Try a Verdi - or even a Mozart. (Although you will find that most operas are sad, tragic even. It's the drama.) ;-)
