Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
These look like beautiful editions! The Gingerbread Man was one of my favorites and I've read The Little Red Hen countless times.
ReplyDeleteThese classics inspired SO many wonderful retellings! I love Twelve Dancing Princesses. Jessica Day George wrote a wonderful retelling of it. Great list!

I've like to see "more" for The Twelve Dancing Princesses. It's one fairytale I don't know much about, but it sounds fabulous, and seeing it adapted or re-told would be something I'd be most excited for. :)
ReplyDeleteI love ALL of those, too!
ReplyDeleteI did fairytale retellings I'd like to see instead of favourite fairytales, but Little Red Riding Hood was also on my list this week.

I couldn't have chosen only ten favorite fairytales, but you did and compiled a wonderful selection!
ReplyDeleteThat edition of Little Red Riding Hood is fabulous.
Here's my TTT
The Twelve Dancing Princesses has always been one of my favourites, when I was young I used to listen to it on cassette before I went to sleep :)
