Wondrous Words Wednesday is a weekly meme where we share new (to us) words
that we’ve encountered in our reading.
If you want to play along, grab the button,
write a post and come back and add your link to Mr. Linky at Bermuda Onion!

  1. I have a big patch of these cactus' right next to where I keep the feed for my chickens. I will try hard to remember forgiveness the next time they reach out and grab me. (They grow very fast.) Believe it or not, my chickens love the stuff. They reach right past the thorns and eat the juicy core.

  2. Forgiveness is not a word I don't know, but definitely a word I need to practice. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. It's a beautiful photo, and the words are meaningful too.

  4. Hope you don't use it as a cushion !

  5. Watch out for that prickly pear! It's all over here in our county!

  6. This is a very cool "spin" on Wondrous Words Wednesday. I love your quote - did you write that yourself?

    1. No, it is from Mark Twain. I will add the author to the post.

  7. Your spin on Wondrous Words today is very cool, and I love your quote. Did you write that yourself?
Please forgive me if this is a duplicate comment.

  8. Hi!
Great shot. Love cactus, but they can be tricky to take care of.
    Have a great day!

  9. I like the profound thought!

    Here is my post

  10. Cacti are fascinating plants. Great quote as well.

  11. Love the cactus shot. Wouldn't like to bump into it though.

  12. That is a great quote, perfect image to go with it.
    Happy SS!
