    1. Winter is so cold in Chicago that spring is always eagerly welcomed.

    1. My azaleas are in full bloom. They are always something of a miracle, arriving suddenly and brilliantly at the end of February.

  4. Had a few of them come up in Jan, but they came to nothing as it was too cold. Much as I like Tulips I prefer Daffodils and at the moment they are all coming into bloom

  6. Those are so pretty! I'm hoping to share some pictures of the wild tulips which grow in a park near my house as soon as they bloom. I'll try to remember to share with you when they do. :)

    1. LOL Well, that makes sense! We haven't had much snow or cold this year, but still a month too early for the tulips.

  8. With all the yellow daffodils in the world, I would have picked a different color. But still, beautiful. I need to get around to planting some in my own yard this fall.

  11. Tulips are a favorite flower of mine. I don't really care what color, just as long a spring is close behind.

  12. What beautiful flowers. We are still in daffodil time. Spring flowers are so lovely, but seem to be here and gone very quickly.
