Stress Balls at a Technology Conference? Why?

I've just returned from the technology conference in Austin and I'm astounded to find that I have brought nineteen stress balls home with me, all giveaways.

Nineteen.

Why? Why so many stress ball giveaways at a technology conference?

And if, as one might be lead to believe, there are so many stress ball giveaways at a technology conference because technology causes stress, then why this stress ball? How can this be helpful?

  2. Well, I suppose they are easy giveaways and useful when one is trying to lean back and think. You could squeeze it or throw it up and catch it, etc. That being said, having a husband who has been in the technology field for over 30 years - yep, there is definitely stress and pressure. Not sure all the younger ones feel so much of it, but the older ones do. Enjoy your 'stress balls'! LOL
