I love this topic! I have to confess that I haven't heard of most of these, but I am really happy to see a few Barbara Kingsolvers on your list - I enjoy her writing and Animal, Vegetable, Mineral was one I enjoyed immensely. I really want to read Lab Girl; I've heard nothing but praise for it!
ReplyDeleteThese are such great reads, whether one loves nature or not. Though probably these would be enjoyed a bit more by nature lovers. Barbara Kingsolver is fabulous.

DeleteHow kind of you to make this list! I am not in the habit of reading nature stories, but recently I did read One Wild Bird at a Time by Bernd Heinrich and it was captivating. It made me notice H is for Hawk on your list and recognize it as another book in my Audible library, a few more hours to get through, but it sounds like it would be time well spent.

I think I need to look for One Wild Bird at a Time.
